The F-14 Tomcat was widely know as the iconic Topgun fighter jet from the movies, which was origionally developed by Grumman Aerospace (later part of Northrop Grumman).
The Tomcat is a twin-engine aircraft with variable-sweep wings (meaning they can fold in).
